On Holocaust Memorial Day, remember the lessons we still need to learn from the Nazi persecution. . . . 76 years ago, in 1945, the largest concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau, was liberated by the Soviet Red Army. . . . Today I'm thinking of many profound humans - most especially, Irving Roth. . . It was an overwhelming honour to watch Irving Roth speak about his experiences surviving Auschwitz and Buchenwald, who spoke in Saskatoon last year. . . His top tips for us:
1) Watch for signposts, he recognised his slowly, and all too late.
2) There's a difference between reconciliation and forgiveness

4) Look at the FACTS - based in academia and science -- Roth says, no one's doing that anymore, and that scares him. . . .
