On this beautiful tour, running from June 17-22nd next year, we explore the First World War Canadian battlefields, including Vimy, the Somme, and Passchendaele, alongside our experienced team, as led by historian and professor David O'Keefe.
You may have heard that name before - from History Television's War Junk to documentaries like The Black Watch Snipers, and Dieppe Uncovered, it's fair to say that if you're a fan of History, David O'Keefe has graced your television screen once or twice.

On this program, we'll talk of David O'Keefe's experiences working at Vimy, Beaumont Hamel, and Flanders, both in his research and from History Channel's War Junk, giving us an extended and explorative look behind the scenes of these important sites.

This is a custom battlefield tour, created for Canadians who wish to participate in a more explorative tour alongside our experienced team. We'll retrace the story of the Canadian involvement in the Great War - from the iconic battles of Vimy and Passchendaele, the underground tunnels of the Somme and Arras, to the heart of the Grote Markt in Ypres.
Of course, this means special visits with our friends in both Flanders, the Somme, and at Vimy. Enjoy the finest of Belgian cuisines with us in the heart of Ypres' Grote Markt, explore the extended tunnels at Vimy Ridge with VAC's staff, and retrace your own family lineage at Passchendaele.

This tour ends with a beautiful stop at the Talbot House in Poperinge, complete with lunch, tea and a good visit with our friends in Flanders.
